Hailing from the North of England, Steve learned the Carpentry trade from the generation before him in the family business.

After relocating to British Columbia in 2012 with his wife Lynsey and daughters, Lillian and Dorothy, Steve finally found his dream home here in the Comox Valley and is pleased to be able to work in town running Dovedale Carpentry Ltd, and being able to take full advantage of the beautiful mountains; hiking, biking and snowboarding with his family which grew in the summer of 2018 to include a little boy,Lennon.

The company was named in honour of a small town in the Peak District, in England that Steve used to mountainbike every weekend; Dovedale along with other towns in the Peak District were where Steve's passion for mountain biking began and which ultimately brought him and his family here to the Comox Valley.
